Remember when I thought I lost my passport?

I can't even remember if I actually did cry, but I do remember the panic. If I had remembered to put my head between my knees and breathe I might have been a lot better off. Wait, that was ROM event, not AvCon. Yeah, my memory's not exactly up to par. And it wasn't just my passport. It was my entire wallet. I had nothing to prove that I was who I said I was. It was in the hotel room. If Ruth hadn't been standing right there, I might have performed some dark ritual to thank whatever gods decided to give me a break that day.

Well, I'm going to California in November. A friend of mine surprised me with tickets to the Battlestar Galactica official convention, so I'll be doing that. I *can* feasibly afford both trips, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to take the vacay time. Now, see, if it was a month earlier, I could have taken four AL days at the same time. I could still take two of them in July, but...

I will do my best. I really want to make it up there, but I do not want to take a bus again. I'll try and figure it out, because I really do want to see y'all again!
